Ok so for me, I take No sides.
1. Blondie should accept the old bf thoughts and decisions and try his best to move on, but putting himself in old bf shoes. though it is understandable that hes clingy bcs whats been 5yrs for others has only been like a few months for him, he still needs to shape up and let it go. so frankly he just needs time to accept his new reality.
2. the old bf is wrong to just shrug him off jus bcs he has a new bf, like blondie said they grew up together, so regardless of the fact that you moved on relaitionship wise, you shouldn't be treating the guy as if you don't know him and should have been more gentle and understanding of how to must be from blondie's POV and he should be atleast attempting to help him acclimate to his new circumstances.
3. Like it's not like he chose to be in a coma. so their both doing things in an irritating way, but its understandable to be a little out of sorts in this less than optimal situation. but eventually they need to get there sh** together 💀 cus like its nvr that deep.
