I think, that He turned Back in time after losing her once 'cause of the colored First Pictures.
Maybe He was already in Love with her but could Not Show it or did Not know it was Love and was afraid of it.
It could have been that He saw it as as weakness before and denied it and was hard on her.
Now He regrets and use His second Chance to make her Happy.

No, it's not like that. I saw the raws on rawkuma he didn't like her, he was always told that she was a woman who spent and stuff like that and when he was paralyzed in his old life because of a carriage accident, that's when his wife after a while started to take care of him and he saw that everything he had been told was just a lie.Well, that's how I understood it by looking at the pictures.
