You guys, this is a psychological manhwa. You are not supposed to justify Cirrus, you are supposed to understand him. I understand where he is coming from. Chanil has a loving family, had Skylar in love with him till not long ago, has a sparkly personality so it's easy for him to make friends, while Cirrus doesn't have the love of a family, he had to mimic Chanil to make friends, and now is anxious cause he thinks there's some ashes of the feelings Skylar had for Chanil.
BUT none of that is a justification for what he is doing. Chanil asking him must be because he asked Riin first but surely said nothing, she doesn't share Cirrus's problems, and so he asked Cirrus cause he is his friend. But Cirrus trying to make Chanil anxious and jealous is wrong, it's not an impprovement on his personality, it's the opposite, he is showing a crazy toxic side. If he is unhappy in his relationship, only he and Skylar are to blame. Chanil doesn't even know Skylar used to like him, he is not to blame for Cirrus's anxiety. I also understand they are teenagers, and Cirrus is acting like a teenager would, but if Chanil finds out about Cirrus provoking these problems with Riin on purpose, he is allowed to act like a teenager too and provoke problems between Cirrus and Skylar, which is what I would do because I am as petty as Cirrus
