Well I'm from Kenya and well high schools here are mostly religion based so hence homophobia. My ex and I at the time were outed and discussed in groups and got a suspension too. (all the suspected qu*** people were sent home too). I lost alot of friends it was hard hearing my friends make fun of me behind my back. And the icing on the cake is when they made my ex and I go to the the front of the class and pray for forgiveness from G** and ask for it from our classmates too for being the way we were. They prayed for us and said we were going to make the mean grade of our class drop unless we repent and ask for forgiveness.The entire school including teachers made comments in the staffroom and even in class the worst one being (they use test tubes on each other). Anyway I'm in my senior year of college now and I'm grateful for getting out. It was he**. And I'm out to my friends. Sorry for the overshare it just triggered a bad memory.
