Okay hi guys this is the 5th time I'm writing this im gonna kms

I need help

Im 19 F, and I just joined my college, thought there would be no one interesting

Met this nerd at a train station, we started conversing and honestly he's super cute

He's intellectual, sits ahead, answers always, he's 2 years younger but is taller and has a bigger built and wears specks

Hes a lovely guy, similar vibe to me, we often talk philosophical things

This man knows I read yaoi and I've read sm** (he's read some sm** too) and yet whenever he curses, he always writes in astericks so when I asked him why he said 'feels weird cussing in a conversation with a woman' like Omg so CUTE AND GENTLEMAN-LY WTF

And he considers me as a woman like dirmsomeslmf

(Well technically I am one I'm 19)

However as cute as he is, hes really not that good at picking up hints, or maybe he just dosent want to, at least that's what I think

So I try to back off from him, so on days when I don't talk to him irl (he's shy so he dosent like to talk much irl) he makes sure to randomly message me about any random topic online so that we can have a conversation (out conversations to for 2-3 hours mind you)

Had a previous acc with same name on manhuascan and now I lost all my progress and I'm stuck with this new account yessir my life sucks I just need bl men in my life amen 🙏😔

@ChuntaXTakato Today I was sending him pictures of insects (I like clicking random pics) and I was telling the backstory of this spider

This spider would play with me, it would come near me but when I would bring my hand near it it would run away

When I told him this he wrote 'cute' as a reply

LIKE WHO TF IS CUTE ME OR THE SPIDER OR US BOTH AH WTF SUCH A RANDOM REPLY AND SUCH A CHANGE OF A REPLY (like genuinely such a random reply it was from his side moreover I called him cute once or twice before in the same conversation but he didn't reply to it directly)

And see like obviously I won't force anyone into anything I hate doing that

But the main issue is, when I told my friends that I have a male friend who is 2 years younger to me they gave me a side eye??

Apparently it's like idk not good to have younger male friends? Let alone a bf

But see I don't really care about my age, but then my bff put this idea in my head

What if HE care about MY age???

NOW I DONT KNOW AHHHHH

LIKE THATS WHY IM NOT TEXTING MUCH BECAUSE IM OVERTHINKING NOW BUT AT THE SAME TIME I DONT WANNA LOSE HIM HES SO CUTEE

like if I yap about anything he will take his time to listen and I love when he yaps to me because it's always about something or the other that's interesting

And whenever I talk to him irl, I look at his eyes and ahhh such dreamy eyes tbh

IDK MAN SHOULD I BACK OFF OR SOMETHING I FEEL BAD LIKE IDK IF THIS IS OKAY BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE POEPLE WILLJUDGE BUT FU** PEOPLE RIGHT BUT WHAT IF HE DOSENT LIKE ME I DONT KNOW

(it's literally just been 2 months, I'm overreacting and moreover mans not been in a relationship before obviously he'll take it slow wait not that I'm saying we will go in one wow i really am delusional and I should stop talking to him)

So gimme advice y'all

Also once the teachers computer wasn't working so the slides couldn't be shown on the projector and my man got up, offered help, did some tech work and fixed the computer and sat back down as if it was super easy or something and omg that was such a hot moment i don't even know how to explain

(The entire class clapped for him btw)

Oh and also there's this another guy from my class, he's handsome i guess you could say, girls consider him handsome and he's a good flirt and he often tries to talk to me

My friend group teases me with his name because they think that we will make a couple but I've told them repeatedly i don't like him

And I guess he likes me not sure, but he does come around and sticks around trying to talk to me (ideky because I'm not pretty im literally ugly but tbh my personality is the only good factor)

So now im worried that my nerd will think there's something going on between us because there isn't but i cant tell him that because what if he wasn't wondering about me at all and it would become so awkward AHHHHHH

@ChuntaXTakato first off, FU** what your friends say, if you really like the nerd person continue your relationship with him and one day butost likely you will date, and then second of the other popular guy it's either he really likes you as well with the nerf guy or he is using you as a joke with his friend's seen is happen in MSA too many times, and yeah. @Wtf I just found something random but like basically we were discussing about smoking (we are medical students) and I asked which brand might be good and he immediately replied
I was quiet surprised and asked him how did he know and he replied with try to guess
So I said that see, you smoking is not possible, so most probably you're observant
And all he replied with was 'find out by yourself and ask around :)'

now today, i was just walking with one of my classmates and he assumed that I was doing a smoking sign
So then, he said -'why are you acting like S'? (S is the cute nerd)
I was like whaa?

Turns out, a year and half ago, he used to smoke

MY GUY USED TO SMOKEE????

Apparently he did it because of stress, and he used to smoke quiet often during those times

I was actually flabbergasted because he's so cute and I never imagined him to actually do that tbh

Also yes, thank you for the lovely advice, I will keep in contact with him, and the popular guy, yeah, maybe you're kind of right when it comes to the 'joke' part, I mean not exactly, but he definitely is doing it just to gain attention i suppose because all of his friends are in a relationship so i guess he wants to show them that I like him or something??

And aww tysm, I'm not pretty, I know that, but I'm also not ashamed of not being pretty, I'm quite content with myself but still, thank you for the lovely words <3

@ChuntaXTakato okay yea although it's late I read your whole situation and it's honestly sooo cutee😭😭....I would suggest you to go with the flow cuz ur not sure from his side and u said he's shy....and mantain the relationship and don't overthink of wat ur friend said abt the bullsh**t age gap.....and that despo popular guy fu** him off don't care abt him.

Also YEAH go with the flow, I don't want to rush stuff especially when he's the other person is not comfortable
Yess and I haven't even talked to the popular guy since a week hehe so yeah things are going good between me and the cute nerd
It's like now every 9pm he automatically messages me on any random thing and I swear from 9-1 am we keep on talking continuously
Like even if the topic we were conversing on ended, then a minutes later, he would just again bring some random a** topic just to continue talking aahhhhh

Like anything random like the title of the song he's listening to, or how his pencil broke like anything small but it's so cute i swear whenever he messages my face lights up tbh
But he definitely still is shy irl and he definitely dosent flirt haha but it's okay, i love our conversations they're so interesting and lovely
