This might sound cray but what if the actual edith is the author, I mean, if the real died then got the ability to see her own stroy and manipulate it by using other people as the edith, it will make sense how she knows the stroy well and be able to set up conditions she herself knew she could never acomplish but now is in trouble because our dope MC be smashing her, and as she is progresing she is lossing control over her own story, which also explais how the stroy isn't going according to her plan since as the MC progress, the stroy star becoming the story of our MC.
