@DEEZNUTZ basically his friend liked him but he was too naive to notice, then the friend confessed and he was drunk and confused so he ran away causing his friend to chase him which lead to the accident and bc this is fiction he somehow time traveled to the past on the first day they met (kind of like a 2nd chance cz his friend died in the main timeline) and the time refreshed w everything except his memories. So he's now in the past trying to find a way to stop what happened in the future
