@Elliott K I think it's more that he seems like a t[ good to be true savior and when he shows he is there savior it's even more respected but if you make someone doubt them then reality starts to come in and everything seems like there planned

@TickleShitz I completely get what you mean but...What you explained only sows a seed of doubt in the person's mind...If they truly saw him as the savior they wouldn't immediately believe what the mc says...They'd kind of just keep it at the back of their mind and try to find out if it's true (some might not even try)...His point was that this lady believed the mc too easily
