I mean, it makes sense the with the way he acts that she would assume he's a regressor instead of a transmigrator. She only knows the novel story, but he only knows the game story (and not even the full story cause he skips cutscenes), so anyone would be led to believe that he regressed instead of transmigrated.
Especially so if his focus of attention is only on a single character.
