@Pary his father sets at the pinnacle of the world, a place very few in the verse can do. Stronger than dragons him blocking a hit from a da** near g** type person after just completing his training it's a impressive feat. That's why most of his father was shocked not because he became a official knight but because it a overwhelming monster and he blocked it. I don't think Jin will ever be the strongest in his verse for a long time. I feel like we are used to the concept that when you regress you have to become the strongest in the world, or better than everyone else.
