Ugh is it just me or the bottom seems like a snob??? I'm trying my best not to think that way but everytime something happens he immediately goes "I'll buy it for you" like....??? Learn to take responsibility for the consequences of your actions! The author also doesn't even bother to address it or maybe use it for character development. Making this a part of his character really makes him seem like nothing but a snob. Such a let down every single time.

First: yes, he is loaded. In this way he is a “snob”.
Second: I think it’s only right he pays for repairs or a new phone. This is taking responsibility for your mistakes in this case.
Third: what exactly should he have done after breaking a phone, that shows growth and taking responsibility?!?? I am genuinely curious.
@Kenma Simp I think he offered to buy it for him, because he felt bad about breaking the phone's screen. It's a way to take responsibility for his actions. It's not like he's brushing it off. You can see on his face he's shocked and fell bad about it
