@Grimwauld6 Yeah, absolutely. Even if they had reasons to turn to crime, they are (were) clearly scum. Well, MC is scum too, LOL, but different scum.

resorting to banditry is almost always a mental related behavior/problem, never a 'i didn't have a choice'

you DID have a choice, you just didn't WANT to use it

@Bored Given how much more exp the boss offered compared to the rank and file he was likely military and deserted, so his whole attempt to shake the mc with "we didn't have choice" was bs from the start.

@Bored You are totally right. They had the choice not to abuse women to the point of being killed but they still followed through. All the little goodness and right they had disappeared the moment they made that choice. Ofc, you could already take away all right when they decided to steal from others in order to survive but that's probably the consequence of the state of affairs of that country. 

I have a feeling that a demon lord being born or not is irrelevant considering how humans are treating themselves already, just like nowadays in our own world.
