So maxi's dad will tell her that she had a miscarriage, which no one told her btw they're keeping it a secret, and then say that her husband wouldn't want a wife who can't carry a baby properly etc. and maxi believes him and thinks that riftan is gonna divorce her so she follows as her dad wants and goes to his castle. Then as she's really depressed and misses riftan she acts poorly (according to her pos father) which causes his father to hit her and whip her and all that bullshit. and as this is happening riftan comes and sees her and i dont remember if he kills him or not but obviously saves maxi. eventually they have a talk about everything and maxi decides to be a mage so she goes to the mage island for 3 years and then she goes back to anatol bla bla bla happily ever after WHICH SHE DESERVED SOOOOO MUCH sadly there aren't any side stories about children but i hope we see them having a family in the manhw
I read somewhere spoilers online too... According to them, Riftan wanted to kill Maxi's dad but he's stopped by Ruth I guess. But he beats him so much he's left with a stutter for life which he mocked Maxi for.
