@Luna I would assume (in his case) that he finds pleasure in pain and humiliation because he finds control and can cope with his trauma in it, since he was graped as a youngin that repeated pain he felt may have left his brain to mix pain with pleasure as a coping mechanism and may have stuck with him now. So in this humiliation and pain, it's something HE chooses instead of it being inflicted without his consent, which could bring a dopamine rush or a sense of control in him. It's manyyyyy things when it comes to S&M but from what I've seen, it's rooted in childhood most of the time:) Sorry for nerding out I wuv humans
