Astana under the influence of drugs tried to assassinate the Emperor thinking he was Perez. And it was all Perez’s planning from the start. His right hand was cut off completely with Belesac's dagger. Later on Empress tried to put all the blame on Belesac and was planning to kill him in the prison to save her son but it was Tia who helped Belesac and she sent him and his mother out the city.
