Because the translation is botched, I'll give folks a run down: MCs manager is being accused of leaking insider information regarding a top star in the company not doing their military service by bribery, a big no-no in South Korea as its compulsory. Obviously, this is one massive scandal. Song (the bad guy) is behind this because the actor was the dude who was most likely going to be the main lead of that upcoming drama — the reason Song is trying to get into Jay's pants. Jay knows that the MC's manager is innocent because of behind the scene things, but he needs MC to find evidence that Song (the bad guy) is the one behind it.

Tldr: Song is framing the manager about leaking info that's caused a massive scandal in order to get rid of the manager, pi** off MC and remove actor that the scandal was about so he can be the main lead of the hit new drama.
