So Knis a groomer and he groomed his old partner to give everything up to him, and the partner goes so far as to die for him. Now he's doing the same thing to Fabian and he's having mental issues with the guilt about this path leads to death for the esper and he's starting to like Fabian too much to send him down a path he knows will lead to life threatening situations just so K can become stronger to protect himself from a world that only tries to use and take from him.
