General has like no compassion. I agree woth the comment under mine. Like he was there since he was a child, could the general have done that and turned out sane. I don't think so,I give Deonthe benefit of the doubt.

I understand the General's POV. MC holds considerable Power and Sway in the Empire. Since he is favored by the Emperor, Crown Prince, and even the Princess.
Now imagine you going to have major surgery and the Doctor who is going to operate on you has mental issues. Do you feel safe going under?

Don't get me wrong what happened to the MC was horrible. The General should get a therapist for him, but there are none in the times they lived in.
I think the General would have no problem with the MC if he held no power or sway.
