Why would they make Debora less smart here? In the novel, she was also surprised why Isidor wasn't mentioned but she was suspecting that they couldn't just afford someone better than Pilaf. And she did remember that Master has some connection with Isidor so she wasn't solely relying on him - even Master didn't know (maybe he knew but didn't tell her).

@Alice Usually from wht I hv seen, manhwas that were adapted from a novel tend to focus more on romance than makin the characters look smart in the situation(Of course, there r exceptions, but that is usually the case). Maybee she is going to think of that in the next chp, idkk
