@Marie_x4 you said yourself no apology can fix it, what do you think he's trying to do? He's changing so much for her, he's showing through his actions how much he loves and cares for her. He's even tried to keep the boundaries SHE set and she went past those boundaries. She was hurt but still loves him. The Mc isn't weak, she simply loves him and you can see her in the ealier chapters of this era that she was trying to fight it off. He's not just apologising through words but through actions as well and that means so much more than words.
