@s3lbstm0rd @ahjussislittleslut I get what you guys are trying to say, but I feel like that defeats the entire purpose of what hes trying to do.
We see as readers what he (ML) went through at the hands out the MC, but him doing exactly what was done to him is only being the very thing he hates. What is the point of doing all this when this exactly what you wished had never been done to you? And form what you guys are saying, it seems like the main character doesn't even remember what happened for whatever reason, (I was so disgusted by this story I didn't even what to learn the rest of it.) Like i said, he shouldnt go unpunished, there's needs to be SOME retribution, but him doing exactly what was done to him on someone who is in his exact situation and understanding at the time seems a little redundant? And for the ones in the back saying that the r*e wasn't as bad because hes older are kind of insane. r*e is still r*e. Just because someone is older doesn't change that whatsoever. Its still a horrible this that there is no valid excuse for. It doesn't make it acceptable just because he did the same thing, because that just continues and enables the cycle to restart again and again.
If it were me in still situation, I would probably beat him until I felt satisfied. Whether that meant days or months. I would make him see exactly how I felt in other ways, and I would make him see the error of his way, and show him what he did wrong and exactly how it hurt me, and I wouldn't just spring this on him when I know he doesn't have a clue as to why im even doing this. I'd show him exactly what he did, because how would he learn if he know not what he did?
I feel as though that the people forgiving or blaming either men aren't really looking at this from a beneficial and mature stand point, and are only jumping to the easiest solution or opinion because thats what everyone is saying is the correct one.
I suppose thats just me though🫡
