Right we got that, but what do each of the different oaths and things do?

From what I understand, the one connected to the Ml isn't activated yet but basically if the princess wants to or has reason to she can turn him into a mindless puppet and if the Oath gets removed an order would be sent to k*ll himself so he would either be turned into a mindless puppet or die. The one on the grey hair girl is basically an oath of silence where she can't reveal anything against the princess. I'm not too sure if there are other oaths and things like that.

That's how I interpreted the oaths as well.  But it's a big leap from oath of silence to her controlling all those soldiers and the grey hair girl with it. They said in an earlier chapter she used the oath and took control of a bunch of troops and then handed that control over to someone to be less of a burden.

Hmmm I'd need to go back and read the part about the soldiers. I'm also confused on how the king knew of the oath and talked about it as if it were passed down from generations.

It's not too many chapters back they talked about the soldiers only way I can remember that detail. I assume the witch who cast the oath things did it to their ancestors and that power had been passed down, they might have even explained it earlier I have a vague recollection of it.
