PREDICTIONS: Lorkan falls in love with Brian as well, or he just realizes how valuable and powerful Brian could be, and decides to give up his power as well and become the cardinal Brixton? Braxton? Wtv his name is. Then when we resume the present, the whole story is the dispute between soleite and Lorkan over who gets Ian, but Ian will either choose Sol because of love, or he will choose to stay away from both of them because Ian is not Brian

@Malloreaper As I see it, Lorkan learns a human definition of value and power, and with Soleite given up his dragon power to Lorkan, the latter will see no use in it when there's no rivalry to prove himself in any way, and consequently little meaning in such domination. Soleite hints at some kind of competition in his conversation with Lorkan, and I'd like to know the second thing he has said to his brother - this certainly explains their actions in the present. 'Cause Soleite keeps from influencing Ian - as if he chooses to follow his deal with Lorkan rather than "protect" Ian from all the hurt he is bound to relive as soon as he remembers his past life as Brian. But then, something trivial as "accept Brian's choice" to go along as the second rule of the deal seems... trivial?.. Any ideas on this point?
