Eh MC should know this is now not the game anymore even if the game elements are there, so why didn't he at least loot some protective gear (arms, shoulder, legs, etc) from the body beside him?

@Tempura must be level restriction like using after reaching a certain level or class restriction like only using his bat type weapon
@Sam The gear could also be used up and no good for anything but recycling. It's very likely this game had a durability stat in the first place.
