Iirc it happens before kael goes to the war negotiation. They already did the "deed". Thats why he threw the bracelet so hess wont misunderstand anything.
@Aiko its on the novel.. before kael goes to diplomatic work to avoid war he was send to do the work cause our prince is incompetent (kidding)before that he'll be held as a duke...and pinky will gave him a bracelet but he'll throw it away cause he doesn't want hess to misunderstand.
