Further, in this world it seems many humans buy into "human supremacy" in large part because its also pushed by their church.  This may not have been made clear in the manga, but IS in the LN that the human empire has a single religion and its preaches that humans are better then demi-humans, hence how they can justify their behavior.  Its unclear how many humans do not buy into this.  So in the LN they not just have to deal with the military, but with church beliefs. 

BTW, this idea is used in other manga I've read where the human empire will attack and kill demi-human nations for similar reasons.  I read a REALLY dark one where the human nation, due to their religion, is wiping out all the demi-humans calling them ALL demons.  They aren't even taking them as slaves.

@Spca112233 if your people kill innocent lives for your greed even you tag along you become accessories to their crime so technically you ain't innocent either. That makes you not so innocent because wtf telling anyone your innocent even you see them create that abomination crime against humanity or furry.
