selfishness is a sin too. Say, a 13 year old girl living in poverty was raped in a 3rd world country. If she did not abort the child, how can she support the child? If she let someone adopt it, would there be a guarantee that the child will be adopted? Would there be a guarantee that the child's life will be better? Or will she be treated as a slave??
