I am a bit conflicted on her part of moral stance here , when someone is getting beaten up in their dreams , their body remembers and registers trauma for all kind of mental blocks and even ptsd. She knows what he is up to , why isn't she attempting to stop this? The guy showing her his wounds and being vulnerable about the dream part was such a dead giveaway. Come on girl, you have lost your freedom , the golden cage is still a cage.
@Ilovepink She thinks of him as her savior, so honestly, I get where she's coming from. Not saying I have experience, but based on what she went through, I understand to some extent. While it's toxic, her "savior" could do no wrong in her eyes—she has gaslighted herself into believing that.
I'm pretty sure he's aware of this because, before she started dating him, he spoke of manipulating her into loving him (I forgot the exact words, but it was something along those lines). She's fully aware of it but is scared of making him mad after working so hard to keep him in a good mood. His belief that he is her savior (and vice-versa) instilled this fear in her, leading her to believe everything is her fault.
@dazai I get it , she knows what he is up to and always had strange vibes from him. But reading later chapters , she does act up and tries to stop him. Eventhough it's not in her hands to control or monitor a grown man.
