@Jinni I don't think she is dumb. She simply hates herself and blames herself for the death. I don't think anyone in her position would feel differently. She spend time with this woman and kinda saw her as a mother, the first adult to simply care about her. And then she dies and Fl blames herself because she thinks without her charm she would have been able to get the mother out of the house and nothing else would have happend (at least that is what I would think in such a situation)
And of course it is shi*** that she lied and hurt the guy but she thinks this is the best because she seriously believed that she is at fault for the mothers death. How can you call her dumb after reading the last chapters where it is so clear that she blames herself?
