@Martha Elena Brenes Orozco it's part of the fun of these stories though, no? If they start with a stiff backbone and stand up for themselves from day 1, the story doesn't exactly work the same. Them growing up into strong women is an enjoyable part of the formula (though there are other ways to write it too)
