Everyone in the comments are being so nasty, you guys are terrible, this is the moment where you have to put your feelings aside and DO WHAT'S RIGHT, no matter how much you hate her, THIS IS NOT RIGHT, she doesn't deserve forgiveness for what she has done, but no one deserves this. No matter how much you hate her, no matter how much the MC hate her, he will never allow this to happen to anyone, not even her, and you should be ashamed of yourself for thinking that way. Oh aand BTW who's saying this is a revenge Manga? Is this of the MC's doing? This is probably will be resolved by the MC himself in favor of her, he still won't forgive her though, as he shouldn't.
Humans, they preach forgivness in the name of a lord that may or may not exist but in the end they do not show any kindness to those who seek absolution. It is sad and you have every right to complain but in the best case you get a "She is only a character in a book anyways so i can just hate her" and in worst case they will wish bad things upon you for defending some imaginary person.
Btw. I disagree with you in one point. Hannabi will be forgiven, if we like it or not. It may not happen in the next couple of chapters, but it will happen at some point.
@Cid Lunius two wrongs don't make a right, this is not justice, she deserves to pay for what she did, but not like this, her broken leg and isolation was a good initial punishment, she being looked down by others is too, I would say MC deserves some monetary compensation too by her family, this is all fair, why should we go to the point of no return and sell our dignity to the lowest bidder ? No, not even her deserves this.
@WiseMansBlood (hidden existence) Forgiven? I dunno, there are some lines that we shouldn't cross, and she crossed it, not ones that deserve all of what the haters want, but the ones that can be forgiven, I mean, I would still protect her if necessary, but, my heart is closed to her, and forgiveness would mean that I've opened it, but that probably won't happen , I don't see any way of that happening at least.
@Mihzvol She deserves EVERYTHING she's getting. She's being paid back with THE SAME coin she used. The harassment, the manipulation, the belittling, the self loathing. She 100% deserves every bit of it without an inch of forgiveness.
@Cid Lunius you really think it's only that? And again, TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT, making her pay in the coin will only perpetuate such behavior, be it by her or others, punishments should be applied as a teaching tool, not a hurting tool, else we're doomed as society. AAnd another thing, you know this is borderline ra** behavior right? Are you that wicked that you support such terrible behavior? No, I will never stoop that low.
@Mihzvol It doesn't matter. She deserves it wholeheartedly. To push someone to believe that their worth is so low that it can only be intrinsically tied to someone else deserves an equally low hole for her to become worthless.
Karma doesn't care about being right, it cares that you pay your dues and hopefully she pays hers. Not in deeds, but in pain.
@Mihzvol I'm not saying you will forgive her bro 🤣. I'm saying she will be forgiven, as in the MC will forgive her. I know a lotta people don't want her to be forgiven and are gonna be furious with the development of the plot into that area but that is part of the reason I am reading this. The story is good don't get me wrong but the hate comments of people being surprised about what the author was going for from the start are just as hilarious
@Cid Lunius I do wanna say that she is like 17 or smth... so like she is a child, and most of the sh** she did that caused her and him to become like this started in kindergarden. So like can you give a 6 year old the fault for being toxic or would you rather say she was just raised badly? I for one think that the main problem with the situation is that none of the adults like ever noticed something was wrong, leading her to believe that what she did was right. Which in the end is similar to indoctrination. I know a lot of people will disagree with that but I don't think hanabi is a "evil" person, she probably never realised she did something really bad until MC broke it of with her. Which doesn't excuse her from the wrongs she commited but certainly should reduce the levels of punishment. Its first and foremost the failure of her parents, teachers and whatever that didn't manage to raise her properly. We actually have a lot of things that show this. For example the moment she realised what she was doing to MC was actually wrong she stopped having any malicious intend and clearly reflected.
