@Ellianne It may be, but I think she is still at fault. She apparently never bothered to find out what illness her dad had. He may have trouble walking, similiar illnesses to other uncles but worse or smth. It common sense to visit ill people. Not wait till they come to you. The father of the og fl doesn't visit his daughter too, so why would she think her ill father even could help her or come to her.
