Comment on ChapterBlind Play - Chapter 91
I like this story but a part of me feels shattered because the side couple couldn't stay together in the end, like they practically died together( I'm not lying when I say I cried when I noticed that they died), I really wanted them to have a happy ending, but I know that ilmo would kill him if he chose to save the detective either way.

He knew the friend would have helped him no matter what, killing his new partner was so unnecessary.
But the explanation was so evil and genius at the same time, downright poetic.
He wasn't jealous because those two were a couple for a short time or were friends their entire lives, he doesn't love the blind guy, he sees him as his property - something that was given to him by his stepmother before she abandoned him.
Even when those two are reunited and happy to see eachother, the death of the police officer would have tainted that moment and also reminded them who was the big dog in that story.
The way he kills sometimes feels random, but never is ... the reason he became a writer instead of let's say a doctor is, that way he can have even more power over people's lives.
He is a 'g**' and his creation isn't just fictional, he constructs real stories with actual people, everything is his design (HANNIBAL).
He killed his brother's partner, he tried to brainwash his brother into believing their father did it, maybe even killed the stepmother - the goal was to create himself a 'companion' (HANNIBAL/STRANGERS FROM HE**).
Unfortunately his brother was too smart to buy into his bullshit and too moral to be molded into a 'monster' like him.
But he isn't done with the brother yet, that's why the poor smuck is still alive and in that asylum.
Because the brother didn't turn out the way he wanted, he moved on to the blind guy, a person he knew since childhood, but didn't care about until recently.
This person turned out way more depraved and resilient than his brother, therefore was worth his time and energy.
But those 'companions' were never meant to be his equals, they're just pets he molds into his own needs.
It doesn't how brilliant a criminal is, their own inflated ego becomes their downfall, because getting away with it isn't enough anymore, at some point they want to be praised and admired for their work.
@trevor noah  omg what a good analysis u
