so what are the chances that he was not pure evil just missunderstood? I hope they don't try to reedem the guy as he was clearly abusive towards her and let the others dunk on her, not to mention the rumors, also the freaking reports? what other children does he have? why send the bas**** child?

@User.1099852  I mean... It was already established that he was never pure evil. He grew up listening to, and being used by, adults that thought they could use him when he took the thrown, except he caught on, remembered their crimes, punished them immediately after his coronation, and gradually lost his trust in people ever since.
@Galactic Navy Officer I wonder what kind of a father makes his child fear him so much to the point that the child can hardly stand after thinking about him.
@Galactic Navy Officer yep, the usual cliche is how the father loves his daughter he just needs to invite the all starts to dunk on her then user her as a punching bag
@Syltti I was refering to the father, the usual cliche of him loving his daughter just refusing to show it
@Arham Abrar asian parent :I jokes aside given how much on an impact magic and inheritance has on this world I would like to see it from other POVs as well as the father, with him thinking that he could be the last to possess the bloodline with none of his children inheriting, what training did he receive as a kid? who put pressure on him? his own father? grandfather? did he see other families loose it? with his own loss will other families jump on his own?
@User.1099852  oh well as a south asian, I say that's not really how the parents treat their children here. Sure they can be strict, but like this usually.
@Arham Abrar fair enough, this portrayal happens so often in these stories with a redemption thrown in a half assed manner that you just have to assume it's cultural thing
@Arham Abrar don't worry I understood the idea behind the wording, it happened to me as well. I'm not sure why the site does not allow us to edit our commets
