As expected of the latest chapter. Well, typically saying that even though she hurt Hyesung... Family drama.. We can still say that this fits the reality of no matter how you hate and question the things your Mom did + being distant but there's a happy memory that faded. Doesn't mean you'll stay mad when you see her. Yes, Hyesung hates his Mom and all, but when we read the line "It felt like all my hatred towards her melted away" it's the HEART speaking now. But after that, ofc there's a lot to process like A LOT, that you have to pause and tears will come down to your cheeks without noticing it. What I can see in this chapter is a genuine and realistic emotion of a human would feel towards a person they loved/bond then hated in the present.
Hyesung's heart is saying "I wanna forgive her" but that also tells him not to, and now being confused. But now he's very aware.
Tbh, I cried when his knees dropped instantly... Because it's their reunion facing each other's faces.
And don't hate me, cuz at first I also hated his Mom asf and some readers are also saying that the author just brush Hyesung's trauma off because it's not that important anymore(?) Or something? But still, given with the past, look at Hyesung, chat. Even his Mom said thay he looked baby face despite of having 2 kids. And that's just because Hyesung'd and Dojin's marriage is healthy.
