All he has been thinking for seven years is revenge. I doubt he would have an ounce of pity in that moment. Why did he try to reach out. Doesnt make sense.
@YoruShiro We’re only human. Even though he’s dead set on things like getting revenge on Hugo, you can’t always control how you feel. No matter how much you hate your parents, there’s usually still a part of you that feels something for them. A lot has changed in this life, so it’s only natural that his feelings about the situation have changed too. And the woman there never did anything to him in his previous life, so it makes sense that he’d feel differently toward her.

"his revenge" doesn't have to align with your typical edgy manhwa revenge and he only resents the Baskerville and the upper echelon, not all of em indiscriminately. So he would have regular emotions here and there. Is it so hard to believe such a simple thing
