@John Wo i can’t figure it out. Are you dumb or just joking. This is obviously set in the past. And lets calculate together. He was 17 in 1972 so 43-17=26. And 1972+26=1998. So this story is set in 1998.

I edited the comment, i saw he is 43 years old in the next chapter and I didnt know it was set in the past
