So in this season we will get a rather calm Taeui getting to know his brother more in the beginning but he is thinking of finding a way out bit by bit. Later on we will have the heated phase where Xinlu saves Taeui and Jaeui but while that Ilay gets a blink of Taeui hopping into Xinlus car and Ilay gets shot.

Raumaan (this is how his name is written in the novel) despise Taeui, cz he takes a good liking towards his brother n doesn’t think he’s worth of leaving. Raumaan will kindly keep questioning Jaeui to make a weapon for him n Jaeui will keep refusing. Meanwhile, Ilay will have a break of life searching Taeui. Months will pass by btw. Jaeui will be torturing his mind thinking abt Ilay n want to go back to Ilay, but theres no one of ‘em to be out the palace. So one day, Jaeui will stole a phone from bodyguard n will call Ilay right away. This will be a huuuuge fuss cz finally Ilay will know where they’re precisely. Jaeui will be beaten to pulp 💔 but he’ll talk w Jaeui abt going out n Jaeui will get the project that Raumaan wanted. But Raumaan will be quite shocked and won’t allow ’em to leave. If u wanna know more, ask me n I’ll drop the rest ☺️

After the intent to leave the palace, the brothers will be talking a lot abt many things n getting closer while the time is passing by. One night, Taeui will wake up w a huge amount of noises. Then he will go out of his room n find Jaeui to check what’s going on. They will talk abt n wonder what in the he** is going on. Staff will arrive n Raumaan too. He’ll explain that some faction is after his family (political matter) n they’re bombing outside n he might leave the place right away in a hush. Even tho, he doesn’t allow ‘em to leave n guarantee that no harm will set upon ’em if they stay put. Moreover, Jauei talks that he’s planning to join his uncle once more when they leave. 

So then, they heard a huge explosion starting n is coming closer each time. Guess what?

Ilay is bombing EVERYWHERE inside the palace w a panzerfaust!!!!! 

When the brothers finally scape the palace, they first meet who? Xinlu!!!!

He threatens Taeui to come w him, he then drugs n abducts Jaeui putting him hidden in the car, forcing Taeui to join him. Then…. Who comes?! Ilay appears! When he sees Taeui from afar, HE SMILES BRIGHTLY IN EXCITEMENT! Yes guys, he softens just seeing Taeui. But… Xinlu says that he’ll kill Jaeui if he doesn’t enter in the car…. Jaeui enters in the car, making Ilay thinking that he’s leaving him. I’ll stop here haha but there’s much more angst to come 🤭
