Well, he's still calling him "Teacher" right? That itself puts up a boundary between them, Yuri being his student. Poor Yuri is emotionally dependent on another person. He must deal with his emotional rollercoaster om his own. The only problem is that Teacher didn't inform him, at least, that he already moved out. He need not tell him where, just a little bit of an assurance for Yuri that he's out and he's okay.
