I didn't finish it, but it is a historical BL where the ML is an emperor and MC is a solider with black hair and red eyes. The story begins with the ML being in love with someone else. They were childhood friends and he relied solely on him to survive palace life because he was an adoadoned prince before becoming emperor. So he was crushing hard.
But his childhood friend couldn't be with him because his father disapproved and eventually fell in love with a maid. So the obsessive ML fuc**** lost it. I don't remember if he killed the maid or not, but she died and made his childhood friend his advisor and whatnot because he is obsessive af.
Now when the MC is introduced ML gets jealous because the childhood friend takes a liking to him. The reason why is because his hair and eye color are the same as his dead lover's, the maid!!!
Then some sh** happens and ML makes MC a night servant to spare his family or something and MC resents him. I don't remember much after this and didn't get too far. I remembered this on awhim and am dying to know how it finishes, so if anyone knows the name pls tell me!!! 🙏🙏🙏
