@Cat._. ..... i was just about to go looking for some but i realized you said  "expect for romance" and i basically only read romance manga/webtoon except for bungou stray dogs, hxh, and banana fish

i mean in bungou stray dogs both the mc *atsushi and dazai* have gone through some hard cold trauma but  both are  not very cold hearted except dazai when he was in the port mafia when he was younger... there are some side characters such as autagawa, Q, fyodor, and ect that are crazy and  but there not mc's

i can try to look for manga's with mc's like that tho if im bored
