But then the phone rings, and HE EXPECTS IT TO BE CHEF, but of course it's chefs competition calling at the perfect moment for him to swoop in. But when multiple people call multiple times including his actual friends and coworkers and a random number (because random numbers always call us multiple times right after we've had a life changing emotional explosion of confusion) he decides that talking on the phone is no longer an option.
