@DarkDerpAroo it's a sorta valid treatment sure will is effective against magic resistance creatures and lots of others but when it comes down to creatures that need magic to be killed will is kinda useless, he is bound to come across this later in the tower so he needs to figure out how to get by it sooner or late

@Akito With that logic mages were useless against that demon who could nullify magic then does that mean all mages should do " physical training " with swords ?
I mean they are useless at that time and could come across that type of demon

@Monkey.D.Luffy yes whilst that is true this is the first instance in their recorded history of a monster immune to magic whilst there is a WHOLE TOWER with many physically resistant monsters which Mages have been fighting for longer so the mages have more of a valid point tb

@Monkey.D.Luffy although will is physically strong he's still a human to our knowledge so far and we've seen monsters way stronger than human capabilities in this manga so physicals alone won't cut it he needs magic in order to climb the towe
