@Deleted  also, I still dont get the author decision of putting past life into this? Past life a dog? Like why is this still not talked about in the story cus that is such a big thing/ arc and Normally it would be something that changes the story but I can't help but think this past life thing is not adding anything to the story? Like why is the past life as a dog even mentioned if the author does not even explore it (don't get me wrong I honestly don't even know why the past life and that Cain is a dog is even in the storyline it is so confusing I just want to see more so I know why this is even part of the storyline since this is such a big background on Cain

@Deleted ok so sorry if I may look rude but half of what you said don't make sense. We aren't even half the season yet and you are talking as if you know it all? No yawhi isn't the end game. No the author didn't choose the easy rout there is a lot of time to clarify everything. 

Yes Cain need to clarify things with his family to be able to stay longer by jooin sad so yes he will have to manage that on his own.

@WhatTheH  Half of what OP said does makes sense tho? I kind of get OP's point I am team Cain but I also feel frustrated that the author instead of making all three of them develop/ in an equal playing field make a situation where Cain is away where Jooin can be more vulnerable/ more prone to situations where he is alone with Yanhwi instead of both and influenced by Yanhwi in which Yanhwi in this chapter literally said “he is trying to harbour sympathy” also OP never said that they know it all" they just said “they feel the author” they never stated it as a fact

Also I do get your point on the "past life as a dog" part I feel like it did not add any substance to the story? since it is such a huge storyline/  background on Cain like how this frames him as a person and personality, how much does this effect him etc but I feel like the author did not really dwell more into this when making this his background but hopefully the author does more in the future

@Lv e I don't get both of you. On S2 bot of them where there and both of them just keep confusing jooin. For join to make a fair choice obviously he need to stay alone and close with yw. To test his feeling. To be sure that even if yawhi comme back crawling he won't look at him. I have a question. Before this chapters where he is Alonso with yw wasn't you unsure about what would happen if you actually start acting nice?  weren't you wondering if join still have feeling for yw?? These chapters are here to clarify it and I'm glad they're here cause if they occured when join and Cain had a good relationship it would be even worse seeing how much yawhi is forcefully kissing jooin everytime. 

I mean it's necessary for both of them to be appart for each of them to realize thier feelings. Yahwi was appart from join and realized his. So now join should be appart form Cain to be sure if he like him or not.

@Lv e for the Cain part I would say the same for yawhi??? Before S3 we know almost nothing about his past??? Nothing about his feelings and motivation??? I think author is doing a really good job here. They can't just throw every background just like that and hope for the best no. It's necessary for them to occurr at the pic of the story aka the last season. It's necessary for everything to settle one after another or everything will be a mess.  You can says the author didn't dig in it if the story isn't even complete yet. Until recent chapter we didn't know past jooin was murdered. And even worse we still don't know how did Cain die and I'm sure that's the reason why Cain and jooin have the same birthday date.

@Deleted  Yeah at this point I don't like either characters at first liked Yanhwi probably because he's just the ml and just bc he was hot. I never liked Cain bc of his half-assed backstory. Now I just hate both. Yanhwi is trying to manipulate the kiving sh** iut of the protagonist and Cain is somewhere is America doing sitting in his room and staring at his ceiling. Honestly at this point just spawn a 3rd male lead that was the protagonist's bff that left for college and he was always in love with him 💀

Btw glad I was not the only one who found Cain's backstory half-asse
