There is so much to the story besides the r rated scenes. I understand you only see this as toxic and abuse but that's only the surface of what's going on. I don't even like yaoi but i am still here. May i suggest you a video on yt titled "the sadism of class". That video explains painter of the night in a lot of ways that i can't.♡
