I read the first 20 or 30 ch of the novel some time ago... And the problem is not the obsessive ML but the "Saintess" ( she is not a true saint).
This is the 3th life of FL, in the first she was killed, in the second she lived in modern times. She remember her first life as the story of a book she use to read.
The Saintess has the power to "charms" (brainwashing) everyone, but it doesn't work on Lauren, because ( i didn't entirely understand this part: because she is a vessel of the G** or because she is the mother of saintess- Leticia). Anyway because FL has divine protection.
So the Saintess charms(brainwashing) everyone around Laurel, and with the help of the Crown Prince framed and kill FL aka Laurel.
After FL death in her first life Leticia with the help of the G**'s (?) return back time.
Now in the present Leticia (Lauren and Calix daughter) seams to know about FL first life(i don't know how much thought), she seams to knows her father even though she hadn't met him before and she knows about the Saintess.
She will try in various ways to protect her parents. (The first thing she doesn't when she met her father is to give him divine protection.)
