So Edward look so much like the king, he has blue eyes and blond hair, but Joffrey doesn't resemble the king at all, he looks so much like his mother, so ig the king got divorce with Edward's mother bc she has a low status and did not deserve to be a queen, and the king remarried with Joffrey's mother after joffrey was born, so that's why the king doesn't like joffrey bc he's not his son, and Edward and Joffrey is step brothers(like placebo), but idk this is just my theory
