@georgina byju he’s an adult, his growth was stopped due to inadequate nutrition. probably because he was neglected by his family and grew by eating scraps wherever he found in the place he was locked in. your excuse for it is that he looks like a child which isn't true. as this is a manga based off of a world where animals could act, and speak just like how a human could, and since he's a cat ofcourse he's still going to have features of how a cat does. like how he small, petite yet being an adult. his growth may be smaller because of lack of nutrition when he was a kid.
