Tbh this manwha kept giving me "back to school" vibes where the "obsessed ex" had a complicated tense relationship with the mc in the past. That's what TJ felt through and throughout until we got context of their situation. I guess there's been hints of Ian and his drug problem in the past but with how Jo is as a person, they're a little too different to gel properly.
this is probably one of the rare cases that having 'history' wins over the new love. Though maybe TJs approach could be different, he's still keeping a distance to keep Ian comfortable.
All in all, I don't think Ian is ready for a relationship in the first place. That man needs some time for himself without worrying about that classic tug of war between the male leads. also the art continues to slap so har
