@sock4 I really dont know but I have 2 theories. One theory that I think is most probable is that the colour of the lock depicts the type of feelings they will develop as the favoribility rises. For example, Derrik's lock is yellow which is associated with friendship so if his favoribility rises they will be good friends, Callisto's is red which is obviously love. By this theory, purple is often associated with mystery, which could be a reference to how she doesn't know vinter much due to the secrets he holds, but purple in romance is associated with positive feelings and sometimes love. This theory also means that the slaves dark lock refers to his obsession with her as her favoribility increases. However, there is one fault in my theory and that is Raymond, the other Prince because his lock is pink, which means romance......I cant accept that since technically they are siblings albeit not related by blood.
Um my other, less backed up theory is that the locks are based on their colour palette but I don't think its a good theory since derrik's is yellow so it doesn't match and fl said herself that she needs to know what the colours mean so they must have some meaning.
